G A Butler & Sons Ltd are fully committed to Health & Safety regulations. As a result, it is our aim to provide a safe working environment for our staff and the public who may be near the areas we are working in. Some of the issues which may be of particular interest to prospective clients are as follows.
Training & Certification
As a company our focus is on preventing accidents happening, one of the ways we achieve this is by ensuring that staff have up to date and relevant training tailored to keep them safe.
We carry out risk assessments as part of our ongoing health & safety policy, any hazards are identified and control measures put in place. In addition, risk assessments are carried out on all sites.
Before commencing work on a site a safety briefing is held and decisions are made as to how the work will progress in the safest way. This is fully documented in a site specific method statement.
All our equipment including ropes and harnesses are fully tested and compliant with the Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations.
Staff are fully trained in aerial rescue and regular refresher training takes place.
