Like everyone else, we have been trying to keep informed about the information and developments associated with the current COVID-19 situation. After reviewing the current government guidance, we have made the carefully considered decision to return to our normal working schedule. We understand that this is a difficult and uncertain situation for a lot of people. Accordingly, we aim to continually provide excellent services in line with all of the government mandates in regards to COVID-19.
G A Butler & Sons Ltd will ensure that there are only the minimum number of people needed on-site to operate safely and effectively and maintain our service/operations. Additionally, 2-metre physical distancing, good ventilation, and effective hand hygiene will be maintained and enforced wherever possible. Those methods are recommended to be the most effective means of preventing transmission of the virus.
Various risk assessments have shown that our operations are of low risk. This is due to the nature of our work being outdoors and naturally socially distant from coworkers and clients alike. The safety of our clients and staff is our top priority. Therefore, we require clients to keep us informed if they have any symptoms of COVID-19, no matter what they might be. Additionally, we will verify that all of our staff are symptom-free and comfortable to work prior to any of our operations. These above measures are in place to ensure that responsibility is being taken for the health and safety of colleagues, employees, customers and the general public.
